Elevaré Physiotherapy is a close-knit practice that combines science with personal care.
At Elevaré Physiotherapy, we believe recovery starts with movement, knowledge and personal attention. The practice specializes in sports physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, osteoarthritis treatment, dry needling and tension-related complaints. The practice is currently led by one physiotherapist who personally guides every client. This approach ensures short communication lines, tailored care and full attention during every treatment. Our mission is to help you come back stronger physically, mentally and with more control over your own health. In the coming years, Elevaré will continue to grow into a multidisciplinary practice where several specialists work together to provide the best care.

Maryam Butrus
Physiotherapist & owner of Elevare Physiotherapy | Specialist in sports physiotherapy
My name is Maryam Butrus. Since 2022, I have been working as a physiotherapist and owner of Elevare Physiotherapy. In addition to my work within my own practice, I have been active at FC Volendam since 2023, where I guide athletes in the youth academy with injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance and optimizing physical load capacity.
Through my experience in both the practice and elite sports environment, I have developed broad expertise. I am trained in Dry Needling and Performance Training, and I work with both field athletes, such as football players, and indoor athletes on strength, mobility, stability and performance improvement.
My vision is clear: active recovery, precision and progress. I believe sustainable recovery comes from goal-oriented training, high-quality treatment techniques and a personal approach that fits the goals and possibilities of each athlete or patient.
Together, we work on recovery, performance and confidence, so you return to sport and daily life stronger, more functional and better prepared.

Reimbursement and claims
At Elevaré Physiotherapy, transparency is very important to us. We want every client to know exactly how physiotherapy reimbursement works and what is covered by their health insurance. The practice has contracts with all health insurers in the Netherlands. This means that treatments, depending on your policy, are fully or partially reimbursed.
Supplementary insurance
If you have supplementary insurance, most treatments are fully reimbursed. Claims are submitted directly to your health insurer, so you do not have to arrange this yourself.
Basic health insurance
In some cases, physiotherapy is reimbursed through basic health insurance. This only applies to specific conditions listed on the chronic conditions list of the Dutch Ministry of Health. In that case, the first twenty treatments are often paid through supplementary insurance or privately, and subsequent treatments are reimbursed through basic health insurance.
No supplementary insurance
You are also welcome at Elevaré Physiotherapy without supplementary insurance. In that case, you receive an invoice after treatment, which you may submit to your health insurer yourself.

Elevaré Physiotherapy is officially registered with the Dutch Physiotherapy Quality Register (KRF NL) and works according to high professional standards in physiotherapy care.
