Reimbursement & claims
Clarity about your reimbursement
At Elevaré Physiotherapy, transparency is important to us. We want you to know exactly how physiotherapy reimbursement works and what is covered by your health insurance.
Supplementary insurance
If you have supplementary insurance for physiotherapy, most treatments are fully reimbursed. In this case, the deductible does not apply and claims are submitted directly to your health insurer.
No supplementary insurance
If you do not have supplementary insurance, you are still welcome at our practice. Treatment costs are then paid by you. After treatment, you receive an invoice that you may submit to your health insurer yourself.
Basic health insurance
For certain chronic conditions, for example after surgery, physiotherapy may be reimbursed through basic health insurance.
In that case
- The first 20 treatments are paid by you or through supplementary insurance.
- From the 21st treatment onward, physiotherapy is reimbursed through basic health insurance.
- Your health insurance deductible applies.
We advise you to always check your policy conditions or contact your health insurer for your specific coverage.
